Yvette is a Hungarian soprano opera singer, graduated in 2007 from the Faculty of Music, University of Szeged, Hungary. Shortly after graduation she began her career as a singer performing some of the most prominent female roles in opera. Since 2013 she has made regular appearances in operas by Puccini, Verdi and Wagner as well as duets with such prominent tenors as Kossuth Award winners Attila Kiss B. and András Molnár. 2014 she started collaboration with Mr. Tamás Vásáry, the world renowned pianist and conductor. Mr Vásáry staged three concerts with Yvette featuring compilations of Chopin and Mendelssohn pieces (Grand Hall of Liszt Academy, Budapest). This year also brought International appearances: a concert tour in China with pianist Alex Szilasi as well as a North American tour staging John the Valiant (role of French Princess) an opera based on a Hungarian epic poem. 2015 Joined the Wroclaw Baroque Orchestra on its European tour, featuring Rossini arias. Touring in the Czech Republic and Poland before arriving in Hungary 11th November to perform in the Grand Hall of Liszt Academy in Budapest. Started to perform The Queen of the Night at a number of venues (like The Palace of Arts, Budapest in December).
Ms. Mondok is not only making a very strong impression by the scope of her vocal dimensions and dramatic verve but she is also an accomplished performer on stage. The outstanding strength and diversity of her voice with its dramatic colour and tone is most manifest as Queen of the Night. She belongs to the class of internationally endowed opera singers that are worth to note far beyond the borders of their native land. She is mother of a six year old daughter.
